Bharat Electronics (BEL) unveiled eight new products at DEFEXPO 2018. The products launched are-100 Mbps Radio, Secure Military Wireless Local Area Network, Multi-Function Hand Held Thermal Imager, Long Range Surveillance System, Chemical Agent Monitor (CAM), Multi-Purpose Reflex Weapon Sight, Light Weight Composite Shelter and Mine Field Recording System.
The stock had underperformed the market over the past one month till Apr. 11, 2018, falling 2.02% compared with the Sensex's 1.90% rise. It underperformed the market in past one quarter, declining 19.13% as against 1.63% fall in the Sensex.
Shares of the company gained Rs 3.4, or 2.35%, to trade at Rs 148.35. The total volume of shares traded was 132,752 at the BSE (10.32 a.m., Thursday).
