Bajaj Finserv, engaged in lending, investment, protection and advisory on Wednesday said its board has approved the appointment of managing director and chief executive officer (CEO) Sanjiv Bajaj as the chairman of the company. Bajaj took charge as the chairman of the company from 17 March 2020.

Shares of the company declined Rs 522.85, or 8.28%, to settle  at  Rs 5,794.20.  The total volume of shares traded  was  59,731 at  the BSE (Thursday).
