Bajaj Auto, one of the leading 2 and 3 wheeler makers, announced a rise of 30% in sales to 437,092 units in August 2018 compared to 335,031 units sold in the same period last year.
The company's domestic sales increased to 255,631 units from 200,659 units sold in August 2017.
The company's exports up 35% to 181,461 units in August 2018 from 134,372 units sold in August 2017.
Shares of the company gained Rs 52.55, or 1.91%, to trade at Rs 2,798.90. The total volume of shares traded was 9,997 at the BSE (9.34 a.m., Monday).
