Aegis Logistics, a leader in oil, gas and chemical logistics, announced that the company has purchased additional 2,04,901 equity shares of Sea Lord Containers (subsidiary of the company) at a consideration of Rs. 307.35 lacs. The company now holds 91.39% shareholding in Sea Lord Containers.

Total volume of shares traded on the bourses today was lower by 87.77% to 130,113 compared with 22-day average volume of 1,064,037.

Shares of the company gained Rs 6.75, or 5.48%, to trade at  Rs 130.00.  The total volume of shares traded  was  23,200 at the BSE (10.49 a.m., Wednesday).
