Transcorp International announced a steep drop in standalone net profit for the quarter ended December 2015. During the quarter, the profit of the company declined 22.32% to Rs 1.72 million from Rs 2.21 million in the same quarter previous year.
Revenues for the quarter rose 34.54% to Rs 3,163.70 million, compared with Rs 2,352 million for the prior year period.
Operating margin for the quarter stood at 0.35 percent as compared to 0.38 percent for the previous year period. Operating Income for the quarter was Rs 11.07 million, compared with Rs 9.021 million in the previous year period.
Earnings per share for the quarter stood at Rs 0.34, registering 20.93% decline over previous year period.
