Transcorp International announced a substantial rise in standalone net profit for the quarter ended June 2016. During the quarter, the profit of the company rose 37.94% to Rs 2.24 million from Rs 1.62 million in the same quarter previous year.
Revenues for the quarter declined 19.69% to Rs 2,406.81 million, compared with Rs 2,996.74 million for the prior year period.
Operating margin for the quarter stood at 6.00 percent as compared to 4.68 percent for the previous year period. Operating Income for the quarter was Rs 144.32 million, compared with Rs 140.18 million in the previous year period.
Earnings per share for the quarter stood at Rs 0.11, registering 37.50% growth over previous year period.
