Reliance Power announced a substantial rise in consolidated net profit for the quarter ended June 2015. During the quarter, the profit of the company rose 40.92% to Rs 3,443.40 million from Rs 2,443.50 million in the same quarter previous year.
Revenues for the quarter surged 57.89% to Rs 27,678.90 million, compared with Rs 17,531 million for the prior year period.
Operating margin for the quarter stood at 33.19 percent as compared to 28.61 percent for the previous year period. Operating Income for the quarter was Rs 9,185.30 million, compared with Rs 5014.9 million in the previous year period.
Earnings per share for the quarter stood at Rs 1.23, registering 41.38% growth over previous year period.
