Rajshree Sugars & Chemicals swung to a profit for the quarter ended September 2016. During the quarter, the company reported a profit of Rs 65.10 million compared with a loss of Rs 80.30 million in the same quarter last year.
Revenues for the quarter rose 28.32% to Rs 1,924.60 million, compared with Rs 1,500 million for the prior year period.
Operating margin for the quarter stood at 182.74 percent as compared to 70.74 percent for the previous year period. Operating Income for the quarter was Rs 3,517.00 million, compared with Rs 1061 million in the previous year period.
Earnings per share stood at Rs 2.31 compared with negative Rs 3.38 in the same quarter last year.
