Punjab Alkalies & Chemicals said its net loss for the quarter ended September 2016 has widened to Rs 143.22. It reported a net loss of Rs 88.78 million in the same quarter last year.
Revenues for the quarter rose 5.91% to Rs 629.92 million, compared with Rs 595 million for the prior year period.
Operating margin for the quarter stood at negative 188.73 percent as compared to a negative 111.90 percent for the previous year period. Operating loss for the quarter was Rs 1,188.83 million, compared with an operating loss of Rs 665.58 million in the previous year period.
Earnings per share stood negative at Rs 6.99 compared with negative Rs 4.33 in the same quarter last year.

Shares of the company declined Rs 0.9, or 5.17%, to settle at Rs 16.50. The total volume of shares traded was 42,960 at the BSE (Wednesday).
