Pricol announced a sharp rise in standalone net profit for the quarter ended September 2016. During the quarter, the profit of the company rose 7.04 times to Rs 195.64 million from Rs 27.77 million in the same quarter last year.
Revenues for the quarter rose 35.75% to Rs 3,332.66 million, compared with Rs 2,455 million for the prior year period.
Operating margin for the quarter stood at 117.98 percent as compared to 59.94 percent for the previous year period. Operating Income for the quarter was Rs 3,931.75 million, compared with Rs 1471.57 million in the previous year period.
Earnings per share for the quarter stood at Rs 2.06, registering 7.10 times growth over previous year period.

Shares of the company declined Rs 3.35, or 2.65%, to settle at Rs 123.15. The total volume of shares traded was 162,461 at the BSE (Thursday).
