Praj Industries announced a steep drop in consolidated net profit for the quarter ended September 2016. During the quarter, the profit of the company declined 39.32% to Rs 30.40 million from Rs 50.10 million in the same quarter previous year.
Revenues for the quarter declined marginally 1.79% to Rs 2,057.90 million, compared with Rs 2,095.50 million for the prior year period.
Operating margin for the quarter stood at 0.30 percent as compared to 0.34 percent for the previous year period. Operating Income for the quarter was Rs 6.08 million, compared with Rs 7.08 million in the previous year period.
Earnings per share for the quarter stood at Rs 0.17, registering 37.04% decline over previous year period.
