Maharashtra Scooters announced a steep drop in standalone net profit for the quarter ended June 2016. During the quarter, the profit of the company declined 30.61% to Rs 13.60 million from Rs 19.60 million in the same quarter previous year.
Revenues for the quarter declined 61.90% to Rs 8.80 million, compared with Rs 23.10 million for the prior year period.
Operating margin for the quarter stood at negative 2,147.73 percent as compared to a negative 415.58 percent for the previous year period. Operating loss for the quarter was Rs 189.00 million, compared with an operating loss of Rs 96.00 million in the previous year period.
Earnings per share for the quarter stood at Rs 1.19, registering 30.81% decline over previous year period.
