Maharashtra Scooters disclosed a steep drop in standalone net profit for the quarter ended December 2015. During the quarter, the profit of the company declined 30.30% to Rs 18.40 million from Rs 26.40 million in the same quarter previous year.
Revenues for the quarter surged 63.31% to Rs 22.70 million, compared with Rs 14 million for the prior year period.
Operating margin for the quarter stood at negative 64.76 percent as compared to a negative 112.95 percent for the previous year period. Operating loss for the quarter was Rs 14.70 million, compared with an operating loss of Rs 15.70 million in the previous year period.
Earnings per share for the quarter stood at Rs 1.61, registering 30.00% decline over previous year period.
