Linde India swung to a loss for the quarter ended June 2016. During the quarter, the company reported a loss of Rs 24.66 million compared with a profit of Rs 39.41 million in the same quarter previous year.
Revenues for the quarter rose 14.69% to Rs 4,303.38 million, compared with Rs 3,752 million for the prior year period.
Operating margin for the quarter stood at 17.75 percent as compared to 12.89 percent for the previous year period. Operating Income for the quarter was Rs 763.96 million, compared with Rs 483.77 million in the previous year period.
Earnings per share stood negative at Rs 0.29 compared with Rs 0.46 in same quarter last year.
