Kitex Garments announced a substantial rise in standalone net profit for the quarter ended June 2016. During the quarter, the profit of the company rose 30.65% to Rs 208.71 million from Rs 159.74 million in the same quarter previous year.
Revenues for the quarter rose 9.38% to Rs 1,193.08 million, compared with Rs 1,091 million for the prior year period.
Operating margin for the quarter stood at 283.96 percent as compared to 276.40 percent for the previous year period. Operating Income for the quarter was Rs 3,387.82 million, compared with Rs 3014.97 million in the previous year period.
Earnings per share for the quarter stood at Rs 4.39, registering 30.65% growth over previous year period.
