Kajaria Ceramics disclosed a small rise in consolidated net profit for the quarter ended September 2016. During the quarter, the profit of the company rose 7.68% to Rs 636.20 million from Rs 590.80 million in the same quarter previous year.
Revenues for the quarter rose marginally 4.04% to Rs 7,068.50 million, compared with Rs 6,794 million for the prior year period.
Operating margin for the quarter stood at 1.79 percent as compared to 1.75 percent for the previous year period. Operating Income for the quarter was Rs 126.72 million, compared with Rs 118.62 million in the previous year period.
Earnings per share for the quarter stood at Rs 7.98, registering 7.40% growth over previous year period.

Shares of the company declined Rs 66.1, or 9.08%, to settle at Rs 661.50. The total volume of shares traded was 144,579 at the BSE (Thursday).
