Hindustan Petroleum Corporation (HPCL) disclosed a sharp rise in standalone net profit for the quarter ended December 2016. During the quarter, the profit of the company rose 52.73% to Rs 15,903.10 million from Rs 10,412.50 million in the same quarter previous year.
