Hindustan Oil Exploration Company disclosed a sharp rise in standalone net profit for the quarter ended June 2016. During the quarter, the profit of the company rose 9.61 times to Rs 92.67 million from Rs 9.64 million in the same quarter previous year.
Revenues for the quarter declined 43.86% to Rs 60.03 million, compared with Rs 106.93 million for the prior year period.
Operating margin for the quarter stood at 108.51 percent as compared to 296.92 percent for the previous year period. Operating Income for the quarter was Rs 65.14 million, compared with Rs 317.5 million in the previous year period.
Earnings per share for the quarter stood at Rs 0.71, registering 10.14 times growth over previous year period.
