Gujarat Mineral Development Corporation disclosed a decline in standalone net profit for the quarter ended December 2016. During the quarter, the profit of the company declined 0.14% to Rs 465.43 million from Rs 466.07 million in the same quarter previous year.
Revenues for the quarter rose 39.99% to Rs 3,802.92 million, compared with Rs 2,717 million for the prior year period.
Operating margin for the quarter stood at 17.39 percent as compared to 22.61 percent for the previous year period. Operating Income for the quarter was Rs 661.51 million, compared with Rs 614.26 million in the previous year period.
Earnings per share for the quarter stood at Rs 1.46, registering 80.19% decline over previous year period.

Shares of the company declined Rs 5.8, or 4.83%, to trade at Rs 114.20. The total volume of shares traded was 93,477 at the BSE (10.06 a.m., Wednesday).
