Finolex Industries announced a sharp rise in standalone net profit for the quarter ended September 2015. During the quarter, the profit of the company rose 3.05 times to Rs 418.78 million from Rs 137.11 million in the same quarter previous year.
Revenues for the quarter rose 21.90% to Rs 4,808.40 million, compared with Rs 3,945 million for the prior year period.
Operating margin for the quarter stood at 10.86 percent as compared to 11.95 percent for the previous year period. Operating Income for the quarter was Rs 522.28 million, compared with Rs 471.43 million in the previous year period.

Shares of the company declined Rs 19.35, or 6.16%, to trade at Rs 295.00. The total volume of shares traded was 39,387 at the BSE (2.08 p.m., Friday).
