Engineers India announced a good increase in standalone net profit for the quarter ended September 2016. During the quarter, the profit of the company rose 21.43% to Rs 937.54 million from Rs 772.10 million in the same quarter last year.
Revenues for the quarter declined 24.60% to Rs 3,388.86 million, compared with Rs 4,494.35 million for the prior year period.
Operating margin for the quarter stood at 27.65 percent as compared to 14.44 percent for the previous year period. Operating Income for the quarter was Rs 937.15 million, compared with Rs 648.93 million in the previous year period.
Earnings per share for the quarter stood at Rs 2.79, registering 21.83% growth over previous year period.
