Engineers India disclosed a good increase in standalone net profit for the quarter ended December 2016. During the quarter, the profit of the company rose 25.59% to Rs 849.90 million from Rs 676.73 million in the same quarter previous year.
Revenues for the quarter declined 11.77% to Rs 3,250.11 million, compared with Rs 3,683.71 million for the prior year period.
Operating margin for the quarter stood at 24.89 percent as compared to 13.06 percent for the previous year period. Operating Income for the quarter was Rs 809.06 million, compared with Rs 481.27 million in the previous year period.
Earnings per share for the quarter stood at Rs 1.26, registering 26.00% growth over previous year period.
