Dhampur Sugar Mills swung to a profit for the quarter ended December 2015. During the quarter, the company reported a profit of Rs 91.99 million compared with a loss of Rs 192.95 million in the same quarter last year.
Revenues for the quarter declined 10.69% to Rs 5,308.20 million, compared with Rs 5,943.89 million for the prior year period.
Operating margin for the quarter stood at 6.29 percent as compared to 1.04 percent for the previous year period. Operating Income for the quarter was Rs 333.66 million, compared with Rs 61.887 million in the previous year period.
Earnings per share stood at Rs 1.47 compared with negative Rs 3.27 in the same quarter last year.
