Dewan Housing Finance Corporation announced a steady growth in standalone net profit for the quarter ended March 2016. During the quarter, the profit of the company rose 16.87% to Rs 1,896.60 million from Rs 1,622.80 million in the same quarter last year.
Revenues for the quarter rose 24.27% to Rs 19,644.90 million, compared with Rs 15,808 million for the prior year period.
Operating margin for the quarter stood at 14.56 percent as compared to 16.08 percent for the previous year period. Operating Income for the quarter was Rs 2,860.10 million, compared with Rs 2541.4 million in the previous year period.
Earnings per share for the quarter stood at Rs 7.25, registering 14.90% growth over previous year period.

Shares of the company declined Rs 5.75, or 2.82%, to settle at Rs 198.05. The total volume of shares traded was 247,903 at the BSE (Wednesday).
