DCM Shriram announced a substantial rise in consolidated net profit for the quarter ended September 2016. During the quarter, the profit of the company rose 44.49% to Rs 1,227.90 million from Rs 849.80 million in the same quarter previous year.
Revenues for the quarter declined marginally 2.56% to Rs 14,461.60 million, compared with Rs 14,842.20 million for the prior year period.
Operating margin for the quarter stood at 0.84 percent as compared to 0.72 percent for the previous year period. Operating Income for the quarter was Rs 121.56 million, compared with Rs 106.9 million in the previous year period.
Earnings per share for the quarter stood at Rs 5.63, registering 47.77% growth over previous year period.
