Cummins India announced a steady growth in standalone net profit for the quarter ended December 2016. During the quarter, the profit of the company rose 11.29% to Rs 1,980.90 million from Rs 1,779.90 million in the same quarter last year.
Revenues for the quarter rose 17.86% to Rs 14,532.80 million, compared with Rs 12,331 million for the prior year period.
Operating margin for the quarter stood at 15.58 percent as compared to 14.01 percent for the previous year period. Operating Income for the quarter was Rs 2,264.80 million, compared with Rs 1727.2 million in the previous year period.
Earnings per share for the quarter stood at Rs 7.15, registering 11.37% growth over previous year period.
