Coromandel International disclosed a substantial rise in standalone net profit for the quarter ended March 2016. During the quarter, the profit of the company rose 34.59% to Rs 923.80 million from Rs 686.40 million in the same quarter last year.
Revenues for the quarter rose marginally 1.15% to Rs 30,192.10 million, compared with Rs 29,848 million for the prior year period.
Operating margin for the quarter stood at 0.66 percent as compared to 0.53 percent for the previous year period. Operating Income for the quarter was Rs 200.21 million, compared with Rs 159.62 million in the previous year period.
Earnings per share for the quarter stood at Rs 3.17, registering 34.89% growth over previous year period.
