Carborundum Universal disclosed a substantial rise in standalone net profit for the quarter ended December 2015. During the quarter, the profit of the company rose 47.61% to Rs 225.10 million from Rs 152.50 million in the same quarter previous year.
Revenues for the quarter rose 14.97% to Rs 3,325.90 million, compared with Rs 2,893 million for the prior year period.
Operating margin for the quarter stood at 10.45 percent as compared to 8.49 percent for the previous year period. Operating Income for the quarter was Rs 347.60 million, compared with Rs 245.5 million in the previous year period.
Earnings per share for the quarter stood at Rs 1.19, registering 46.91% growth over previous year period.
