Blue Dart Express announced a substantial drop in standalone net profit for the quarter ended December 2016. During the quarter, the profit of the company declined 46.31% to Rs 281.70 million from Rs 524.70 million in the same quarter previous year.
Revenues for the quarter rose 10.25% to Rs 7,200.00 million, compared with Rs 6,531 million for the prior year period.
Operating margin for the quarter stood at 21.93 percent as compared to 14.11 percent for the previous year period. Operating Income for the quarter was Rs 1,579.20 million, compared with Rs 921.6 million in the previous year period.
Earnings per share for the quarter stood at Rs 11.87, registering 46.31% decline over previous year period.
