Bhushan Steel said its net loss for the quarter ended December 2015 has widened to Rs 6,971.50. It reported a net loss of Rs 4,542.40 million in the same quarter previous year.
Revenues for the quarter rose marginally 3.16% to Rs 25,378.60 million, compared with Rs 24,602 million for the prior year period.
Operating margin for the quarter stood at 3.49 percent as compared to 5.04 percent for the previous year period. Operating Income for the quarter was Rs 886.20 million, compared with Rs 1240.8 million in the previous year period.
Earnings per share stood negative at Rs 30.99 compared with negative Rs 20.18 in the same quarter last year.

Shares of the company declined Rs 0.8, or 2.36%, to trade at Rs 33.15. The total volume of shares traded was 70,863 at the BSE (3.15 p.m., Friday).
