Balaji Amines disclosed a sharp rise in standalone net profit for the quarter ended September 2016. During the quarter, the profit of the company rose 83.96% to Rs 217.31 million from Rs 118.13 million in the same quarter previous year.
Revenues for the quarter declined marginally 0.60% to Rs 1,721.51 million, compared with Rs 1,731.82 million for the prior year period.
Operating margin for the quarter stood at 230.42 percent as compared to 161.38 percent for the previous year period. Operating Income for the quarter was Rs 3,966.72 million, compared with Rs 2794.8 million in the previous year period.
Earnings per share for the quarter stood at Rs 6.71, registering 84.34% growth over previous year period.
