Astra Microwave Products disclosed a sharp rise in standalone net profit for the quarter ended March 2016. During the quarter, the profit of the company rose 3.46 times to Rs 191.13 million from Rs 55.22 million in the same quarter last year.
Revenues for the quarter rose 14.78% to Rs 1,243.56 million, compared with Rs 1,083 million for the prior year period.
Operating margin for the quarter stood at 230.75 percent as compared to 121.03 percent for the previous year period. Operating Income for the quarter was Rs 2,869.56 million, compared with Rs 1311.3 million in the previous year period.
Earnings per share for the quarter stood at Rs 2.23, registering 3.33 times growth over previous year period.
