Arvind announced a sharp drop in consolidated net profit for the quarter ended December 2016. During the quarter, the profit of the company declined 16.41% to Rs 756.20 million from Rs 904.60 million in the same quarter previous year.
Revenues for the quarter rose 14.83% to Rs 23,354.60 million, compared with Rs 20,338 million for the prior year period.
Operating margin for the quarter stood at 10.10 percent as compared to 12.63 percent for the previous year period. Operating Income for the quarter was Rs 2,359.40 million, compared with Rs 2568.9 million in the previous year period.
Earnings per share for the quarter stood at Rs 2.92, registering 16.57% decline over previous year period.
