Apcotex Industries announced a steep drop in consolidated net profit for the quarter ended September 2016. During the quarter, the profit of the company declined 33.23% to Rs 35.57 million from Rs 53.28 million in the same quarter last year.
Revenues for the quarter rose 36.28% to Rs 924.57 million, compared with Rs 678 million for the prior year period.
Operating margin for the quarter stood at 49.95 percent as compared to 140.35 percent for the previous year period. Operating Income for the quarter was Rs 461.84 million, compared with Rs 952.17 million in the previous year period.
Earnings per share for the quarter stood at Rs 1.72, registering 33.07% decline over previous year period.
