Crude oil prices closed higher in futures market on Thursday, a day after U.S. data revealed a sizable weekly decline in domestic crude production.
Light sweet crude oil (WTI) futures gained 0.19 dollar or 0.42 percent to close at USD 44.93 a barrel at the New York-based commodity exchange NYMEX.
Brent crude oil futures rose 0.11 dollar or 0.23 percent to close at USD 47.42 a barrel at NYMEX. WTI-Brent spread was stable on Jun-2017.
Natural gas futures remained flat at 3.042 a gallon at the NYMEX. RBOB gasoline futures remained flat at 1.477 a gallon at the NYMEX.
In refined products, RBOB heating oil futures remained flat at 1.451 a gallon at the NYMEX.
