Crude oil prices are trading sharply lower in futures market on Friday. Light sweet crude oil (WTI) futures fell 0.67 dollar or 1.56 percent to trade at USD 42.37 a barrel at the New York-based commodity exchange NYMEX.
Brent crude oil futures plunged 0.99 dollar or 2.14 percent to trade at USD 45.18 a barrel at NYMEX. WTI-Brent spread was stable on Nov-2015.
Natural gas futures plunged 0.064 dollar or 2.784 percent to trade at USD 2.235 a gallon at the NYMEX.
In refined products, RBOB heating oil futures plunged 0.032 dollar or 2.23 percent to trade at USD 1.394 a gallon at the NYMEX.
Commenting on the outlook on crudeoil, Kedia Commodity Comtrade said, ''Crudeoil trading range for the day is 2,808-2,916. Crude oil prices dropped as concerns that escalating tension in Middle East could disrupt supply faded, and the focus returned to a persistent market glut.''
