Gold, silver futures move up marginally in early trade

Gold and silver are trading marginally higher in futures market on Monday. Gold futures rose Rs 43 or 0.16 percent to trade at Rs 27,125 per 10 gram at the Multi-Commodity Exchange (MCX). Silver futures went up Rs 27 or 0.07 percent to trade at Rs 38,955 per KG at the MCX.

Commenting on the outlook on bullion, Kedia Commodity Comtrade said, ''Gold trading range for the day is 26,900-27,388. Gold eased after U.S. Federal Reserve Chair Janet Yellen said she expected an interest rate hike this year.       

Silver trading range for the day is 38,315-39,845. Silver prices dropped as the dollar trended higher with U.S. consumer inflation rising strongly.''
