Gold and Silver are trading higher in futures market on Wednesday. Gold futures went up Rs 77.00 or 0.29 percent to trade at Rs 26,281.00 per 10 gram at the Multi-Commodity Exchange (MCX). Silver futures gained Rs 221.00 or 0.59 percent to trade at Rs 37,390.00 per KG at the MCX.
Kedia Commodity Comtrade opined that gold trading range for the day is 26,045-26,629. Gold dropped pressured by the firm U.S. dollar and weak oil prices, and with expectations that the Federal Reserve will increase interest rates this year Yellen's remarks on sustained gains in the U.S. economy halted a seven-day rally in bullion, the longest rising streak since 2012.
