Gold and Silver are trading sharply higher in futures market on Monday. Gold futures gained Rs 357.00 or 1.39 percent to trade at Rs 26,130.00 per 10 gram at the Multi-Commodity Exchange (MCX). Silver futures jumped Rs 1,178.00 or 3.41 percent to trade at Rs 35,722.00 per KG at the MCX.
Commenting on the outlook on bullion, Kedia Commodity Comtrade said, ''Gold trading range for the day is 25,879-26,245. Gold settled flat as traders eyed the release of upcoming U.S. jobs data as increasing expectations for a U.S. rate hike before the year end.
Silver trading range for the day is 34,135-35,081. Silver settled flat as pressure seen amid rising speculation of a Federal Reserve rate hike ahead of the U.S. jobs data for September.''
