Industrial metal futures are trading higher in the Indian markets on Monday.Metal index at the Multi-Commodity Exchange (MCX) rose 50.24 points or 1.25 percent to trade at 4080.61.

Copper futures rose Rs 4.85 or 1.44 percent to trade at 342.80 per kg at the MCX. Lead futures went up Rs 0.50 or 0.46 percent to trade at Rs 108.60 per kg. Nickel futures rose Rs 2.20 or 0.33 percent to trade at Rs 667.40 per kg.

Zinc futures went up Rs 1.00 or 0.9 percent to trade at Rs 111.65 per kg. Aluminium futures went up Rs 0.10 or 0.1 percent to trade at Rs 101.95 per kg.

Commenting on the outlook on base metal, Kedia Commodity Comtrade said, ''Copper trading range for the day is 330.3-351.7. Zinc trading range for the day is 108.2-114.2. Nickel trading range for the day is 639.9-709.5.''
