Base metal prices settle lower in global markets

Industrial metal prices closed lower in the global markets on Thursday. Lead dropped the most with fall of 2.78 percent followed by Zinc (1.87 percent), and Tin (0.25 percent) at the London Metal Exchange(LME). On the other hand, Nickel gained with the rise of 1.54 percent followed by Aluminim (0.37 percent).

Copper prices fell $1.00 or 0.02 percent to settle at $6,015.00 per MT at the London Metal Exchange (LME). Aluminium prices went up $7.00 or 0.37 percent to close at $1,878.00 per MT. Zinc prices lost $54.00 or 1.87 percent to close at $2,836.00 per MT.

Nickel prices went up $165.00 or 1.54 percent to close at $10,875.00 per MT. Lead prices plunged $65.00 or 2.78 percent to close at $2,273.00 per MT. Tin prices declined $50.00 or 0.25 percent to close at $19,905.00 per MT.
