Base metal prices settle higher in global markets

Industrial metal prices settled higher in the global markets on Friday. Nickel gained the most with the rise of 0.85 percent followed by Zinc (0.84 percent), Tin (0.77 percent), and Copper (0.33 percent) at the London Metal Exchange(LME). On the other hand, Aluminim dropped with fall of 0.16 percent.

Copper prices went up $18.50 or 0.33 percent to settle at $5,655.50 per MT at the London Metal Exchange (LME). Aluminium prices declined $3.00 or 0.16 percent to close at $1,861.00 per MT. Zinc prices went up $21.00 or 0.84 percent to close at $2,516.00 per MT.

Nickel prices gained $75.00 or 0.85 percent to close at $8,905.00 per MT. Lead prices rose $5.00 or 0.24 percent to close at $2,083.50 per MT. Tin prices gained $150.00 or 0.77 percent to close at $19,650.00 per MT.
