Base metal prices settle higher in global markets

Industrial metal prices closed higher in the global markets on Tuesday. Nickel gained the most with the rise of 1.41 percent followed by Aluminim (1.37 percent), and Tin (0.84 percent) at the London Metal Exchange(LME). On the other hand, Zinc dropped with fall of 1.25 percent followed by Lead (1.11 percent).

Copper prices went up $34.00 or 0.56 percent to settle at $6,145.00 per MT at the London Metal Exchange (LME). Aluminium prices gained $25.50 or 1.37 percent to close at $1,893.00 per MT. Zinc prices fell $37.00 or 1.25 percent to close at $2,934.00 per MT.

Nickel prices gained $150.00 or 1.41 percent to close at $10,825.00 per MT. Lead prices fell $27.00 or 1.11 percent to close at $2,415.00 per MT. Tin prices rose $165.00 or 0.84 percent to close at $19,825.00 per MT.
