Welspun India gains on plan to invest Rs 40 bn in 3 textile projects in Gujarat

Welspun India witnessed a rise in share price on Thursday after the company  has inked Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Gujarat state government at the ongoing Vibrant Gujarat Summit 2017. The company has inked MoU to invest Rs 40 billion for textile projects in Gujarat.

Shares of Welspun India are trading at Rs 71.80, up Rs 1.25, or 1.77% at the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Thursday at 9:43 a.m.

The scrip has touched an intra-day high of Rs 72.25 and low of Rs 71.50. The total volume of shares traded at the BSE is 56,428.

Total volume of shares traded on the bourses today was lower by 76.44% to 353,814 compared with 22-day average volume of 1,501,921.
