TVS Motor Company, one of the largest two-wheeler manufacturers in India, witnessed a rise in share price on Tuesday after the company posted a total sales increased from 186,313 units recorded in the month of January 2014 to 188,598 units in the month of January 2015, registered an increase of 1.23%.
The company's total exports in January 2015 stood at 25,029 units against 28,875 units in the month of January 2014. Two wheeler exports stood at 19,232 units in January 2015 against 23,438 units in January 2014.
Shares of the company gained Rs 8.30, or 2.90%, to trade at Rs 294.55 at the BSE (10.56 a.m., Tuesday).
