Surya Roshni witnessed a sharp rise in share price on Wednesday after the company has commenced commercial production at its newly set-up steel pipe plant at Hindupur District, Ananthapuramu in state of Andhra Pradesh for manufacturing of ERW Black and GI Pipes with an installed capacity of 90,000 M.T per annum from March 01, 2017.
Shares of Surya Roshni are trading at Rs 197.25, up Rs 12, or 6.48% at the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Wednesday at 9:35 a.m.
The scrip has touched an intra-day high of Rs 198.35 and low of Rs 189.55. The total volume of shares traded at the BSE is 45,809.
Total volume of shares traded on the bourses today was higher by 33.97% to 217,377 compared with 22-day average volume of 162,258.
