Reliance Nippon Life Insurance Company, a subsidiary of Reliance Capital, announced its financial results for the quarter ended June 30, 2017. Total Premium was Rs 7 billion (USD 108 million) a YoY increase of 8%. Individual WRP was Rs 1.39 billion (USD 21 million) a YoY increase of 23%.
Assets under Management stood at Rs 174 billion (USD 2.7 billion) a YoY increase of 10%. Embedded Value stood at Rs. 3,040 CRORE (US$ 468 million) as on March 31, 2017 a YoY increase of 11%.
''We are on a strong revival journey and, are moving steadily towards growth across all business lines backed by a robust strategy and strong execution capabilities. Our focus for the year will be to continue this drive towards building a profitable and sustainable growth story,'' said Ashish Vohra, ED & CEO, Reliance Nippon Life Insurance Company.
Shares of the Reliance Capital gained Rs 2.8, or 0.42%, to trade at Rs 662.50. The total volume of shares traded was 47,047 at the BSE (10.35 a.m., Friday).
