Larsen & Toubro (L&T) witnessed a rise in share price on Tuesday after the company's wholly-owned subsidiary,L&T Realty has transferred 2,88,02,880 equity shares in L&T South City Projects to Pragnya South Opportunity Fund & Pragnya Fund II upon receipt of consideration of Rs 1.88 billion on March 20, 2017.
L&T Realty had earlier executed a share purchase agreement (SPA) for selling its entire stake in L&T South City Projects to Pragnya group.
Shares of Larsen & Toubro are trading at Rs 1,558.05, up Rs 19.8, or 1.29% at the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Tuesday at 10:22 a.m.
The scrip has touched an intra-day high of Rs 1,565.00 and low of Rs 1,546.00. The total volume of shares traded at the BSE is 23,888.
Total volume of shares traded on the bourses today was lower by 75.58% to 321,326 compared with 22-day average volume of 1,316,058.
