Linde India witnessed a fall in share price on Wednesday after the company swung to a loss for the quarter ended June 2016. During the quarter, the company reported a loss of Rs 24.66 million compared with a profit of Rs 39.41 million in the same quarter previous year.
Revenues for the quarter rose 14.69% to Rs 4,303.38 million, compared with Rs 3,752 million for the prior year period.
Shares of Linde India are trading at Rs 332.90, down Rs 5.1, or 1.51% at the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Wednesday at 9:49 a.m.
The scrip has touched an intra-day high of Rs 335 and low of Rs 326. The total volume of shares traded at the BSE is 8,103.
Total volume of shares traded on the bourses today was lower by 36.81% to 31,714 compared with 22-day average volume of 50,185.
