Karur Vysya Bank share price rose nearly 5 percent intraday on March 19 as the bank has entered into precious metals business.
The bank offered precious metals to its customers and delivered its first shipment to clients in Chennai and Coimbatore.
It is now in the process of ramping up the business to more fully support its existing set of customers across the nation, said the bank in a release.
Shares of Karur Vysya Bank are trading at Rs 28.15, up Rs 0.6, or 2.18% at the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Thursday at 4:01 p.m.
The scrip has touched an intra-day high of Rs 29.00 and low of Rs 26.60. The total volume of shares traded at the BSE is 95,065.
In the earlier session, the shares lost 0%, or Rs 0, at Rs 27.55.
Currently, the stock is trading down 66.69% from its 52-week high of Rs 84.50 and above 5.83% over the 52-week low of Rs 26.60.
